How To Apply

Applying to our Indonesia campus can be done completely online with the right documents or through your preferred local agent.

The programs offered in our Indonesia campus are designed to meet the needs of employers and prepare students for jobs of the future in Indonesia. Our focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects, including computing, data, and engineering to reflect the economic and industrial strengths of Surabaya and East Java.

The degrees awarded by Western Sydney University Indonesia will be equivalent to those delivered in Australia, and recognised by Australian providers, as well as being Indonesian Sarjana equivalent.

Here are the list of documents required for applying to our Indonesia campus:

  1. a scanned copy of your passport
  2. your latest academic transcript in English
  3. your IELTS score document

Please ensure all submitted documents are in English or are officially translated to English.

To apply online, you need to register first via Studylink. Once you've registered, you will be taken to 'Find a program'. Next, type 'Indonesia' in the keyword search bar and click 'Apply Now' next to the program you are interested in. 

Make sure you have your latest academic transcript, passport and all other key documents ready to attach to your application.

Once you have successfully submitted your application, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Entry Requirements

Admission to Western Sydney University Indonesia is highly competitive and is based on academic merit. You must have:

  • Successfully completed SMA 3 with a grade average of 75% or above
  • An International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24
  • And a successful completion of Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE A Level examination with a grade average of 6 in three core subjects
  • An IELTS document with an overall score of 6.5*
