Search the online handbook to find subjects offered in the session/s for which you are applying and on your selected campus. Subjects are what you might know in your home university as ‘units’, ‘courses’ or ‘modules’, whereas ‘programs’ are what you might know as a ‘courses’ or ‘degrees’.
Please note, exchange and study abroad students can choose from subjects across most of our schools at Western Sydney University, except the School of Medicine or School of Nursing and Midwifery. Cross-school enrolment is permitted.

Sydney Graduate School of Business (SGSM) Academic Calendar 2022
Only Postgraduate Business programs are available for Postgraduate students at SGSM. Students study two subjects per Quarter (equivalent to a full study load) and combine two Quarters in order to complete the equivalent of a semester load.

If English is not your first language and you have not been studying in English at the tertiary level, you will need to include a recognised English test with your application. The evidence of English proficiency is valid for a period of two years from the date of the test or the date of the completion of studies.
For additional tests or certifications equivalent to IELTS (overall score of 6.5 with minimum score of 6 in all bands) accepted by Western Sydney University, refer to the approved English language entry requirements.
In order to receive your Australian student visa, it is mandatory that you purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Once you have correctly accepted your Offer, we will issue your eCoE. This is the required document to apply for your Australian student visa (subclass 500).
Please note, you cannot apply for your Australian student visa until you have your eCoE.
Once you have accepted your Offer and received your eCoE, you can start making preparations to study at Western Sydney University, including applying for your Australian student visa (subclass 500).
